Fleece Sale

The annual fleece sale at the CNY Fiber Arts Festival features high quality fleeces from llamas, alpacas, rabbits, goats, and a host of sheep breeds. Volunteers in the Fleece Sale Tent are happy to help visitors select the perfect fleece for any project.

The fee to submit fleeces in the sale is $25, with an additional fee of 5% of the bag price for each fleece. You will be invoiced online through Square. The initial fee of $25 is waived for Sponsors at any level. To join CNY Fiber Artists & Producers as a sponsor, please visit the Sponsor Options page.

All entries should be made using the online form below. Please keep in mind the following rules:

An online entry form must be completed in advance for every fleece to be in the sale.
Entry forms MUST be completed by June 3, 2026. The entry form will be closed on midnight on June 3, 2026.
Fleeces must be well skirted and free of excessive vegetable matter.
Fleeces must be in clear plastic bags, not tied.
Fleeces must be delivered to the festival site (Herkimer County Fairgrounds) on Friday, June 5th between 2:00 PM and 6:00 PM. Fleeces cannot be accepted on Saturday. Additional information about a fleece should be added to the tag you attach to each fleece.
Unsold fleeces should be picked up between 3:00 PM and 4:00 PM on Sunday, June 7th. Fleeces not claimed will become the property of CNY Fiber Artists & Producers.
There is no limit on the number of fleeces a producer may enter. If you have more than 10 fleeces, please submit another online form.
