


Visit the Children’s Tent for age appropriate crafts and the Explorer Pass. The Fleece Sale offers high-quality fleeces on display from a variety of breeds and species. The Viv Fulton Memorial Weaving Competition showcases the finest examples of handwoven products from natural fibers. Guilds and vendors offer demonstrations of spinning, weaving, and felting, while visitors can try their hand at weaving on the “story loom” in the Weaving Booth. Jim Baldwin demonstrates sheep-shearing.
Fiber artists and farmers display animals and present a variety of products for sale, including handspun and hand-dyed yarn, roving, hand-dyed fabrics, and finished products ranging from decorative artworks to unique articles of clothing. Handmade wooden fiber tools, pottery, and related farm products are also be available.


A full slate of workshops and lectures are offered. Workshops, which require registration, focused on spinning and felting in 2023. By popular demand, in 2023, both Rabbit Goody and Ken Wolf returned to give lectures on historical textiles and developing a fiber flock, respectively, and Mary Jeanne Packer explained how to select the right fiber for your project.
